THE Hillbilly Social - AN independent and Local COMMUNITY
The Hillbilly Social at 101 is a bar and restaurant venue in Bowes Park, opened in a community-owned building that was formerly a well-loved restaurant.
The Social is the inspired result of a motivated local community and our micro-brewery, the Muswell Hillbilly Brewers. Together with the Myddleton Road locals we fostered a unique place to serve as a hub for people to come together, catch up, or enjoy free live music and events. Our premise is built on re-investing our profits into Bowes Park, a truly special place.
At the Social, we sell Hillbilly beers brewed up the hill at our Muswell Hillbilly Brewery which sits just next-door to our ten year-old Hillbilly Taproom. We aim to source our other drinks, wherever possible, from other local independents. Beer and cider from other independent London breweries and our spirits, wines and non-alcoholic drinks from local small businesses.
We are pleased to say we are open for drinks, food and community-led events!
OPENING HOURS:
Weds/Thursday 3:30pm - 11pm;
Friday 3:30pm - 12am;
Saturday 1pm - 12am;
Sunday 12pm - 8pm.
KITCHEN HOURS DIFFER:
Our kitchen closes at 9pm on Wednesday-Saturday;
On Sundays, we will not be serving food after 7pm.

The Hillbilly Social is situated on Myddleton Road, a lively street filled with several independent businesses surrounded by a wonderful local community.
If you’re travelling from further afield, the nearest stations to us are Bounds Green, Bowes Park and Wood Green!

All Hillbilly beer is brewed locally on Avenue Mews in Muswell Hill.
Located just a couple doors down from our micro-brewery is the original Muswell Hillbilly Taproom, a cosy space where our community began.
